Law Clerk

Sophia Talesnik earned her J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School in May 2026, and graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland in 2023, receiving dual B.A. degrees in Psychology and Government & Politics.

During law school, Ms. Talesnik served as a Notes Editor on The George Washington Law Review and as president of her school’s Phi Alpha Delta chapter, and was a member of the GW Law Moot Court Board. Ms. Talesnik also participated in GW Law’s Public Justice Advocacy Clinic as a student attorney, where she represented clients in matters involving DC and federal Freedom of Information Act requests, interned with the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, worked as a law clerk with the Federal Practice Group LLP in the firm’s federal employment law practice, and assisted clients in First Amendment litigation with the DC Superior Court Trial Lawyers Association.

Ms. Talesnik is pending admission to the New York and District of Columbia bars.
